The Best Chocolate Frosting Ever

Never buy a tub of pre-made frosting ever again. 

This recipe is the best Chocolate Butter Cream Frosting you'll ever taste and you'll never want to eat store bought frosting again. 

It's super easy, too. 

Chocolate Buttercream Frosting
adapted from Little Cakes by Susan Wagonner

1/2 c. unsalted butter, at room temperature
2 tsp vanilla extract
1 1/2 c. powdered sugar
5 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
1 1/2 to 3 tbsp milk

1.  Cream the butter and cocoa powder until smooth.
2.  Add the vanilla and one-third of the powdered sugar.  Beat until smooth.
3.  Add another third of the powdered sugar.  Beat until smooth.
4.  Beat in 1 tablespoon of milk.  Add the remaining powdered sugar and beat until smooth and fluffy.  Beat in additional milk, teaspoon at a time, until the desired consistency is reached.
